To put it other words it WILL have a NEGATIVE effect on EVERYONE but the people who have been working for a few decades and are now on a liveable wage will be hit harder than dole bludgers or those just starting their careers? "“Franking credits benefit households in the top 20% of income and wealth distribution considerably more than other households,” the analysis says. “While these households often have low taxable incomes, they tend to have large wealth balances or be in households with high incomes, even when the individual affected has a low income.” srsly??? To interpret that bit of wankerism, "People who benefit most from franking credits are those who have worked hard all their lives, have somehow managed to pay off their home but have a very low income and therefore rely on franking credits from their investments." "The ANU analysis says the top income decile will see an average loss of disposable income of $11,877 per year under Labor.." So IIUC all of labour's policies can be summed up as appealing to 'strayas bogans as "Screw the 'rich'!" (But don't forget you might be well off one day in the future) and "Screw your kids with falsified and dangerous gender dysphoria indoctrination." Do these bogans actually believe that the money the government is stealing from the 'rich' will somehow 'trickle down' to them? Never has before.

Whilst there is virtue in a capitalist system whereby hard work is rewarded with a fair wage. We can't forget the ridiculously high equality gap between our rich and poor. You've put it into 'layman's terms' to suit your own position. Another way of saying it is those who can afford to pay more, pay more whilst those doing it tough are spared. Won't stop me voting for the Libs but a more progressive tax system is long overdue in this country.
