    So why has Alcoa just built its latest aluminium smelter in Iceland? Here's a clue.

    Aluminium smelting is the most energy intensive industry there is, and iceland has the world's largest known geothermal reserves.

    I seem to remember having this discussion on the uranium thread a while back. Have you already forgotten the arguments?
