ha ha, how unsurprising that dave does not know the difference between deficit & debt. in fact it is probably true that most labor supporters wouldn't know the difference.
santaclaws is right about labor never ever repaying debt. there was an extraordinary, stinging attack on this very issue by a certain senator today (in the senate). perfect example was the queensland government who currently have a debt of $74 billion, $64 billion of which was racked up during the mining boom!!!!!!!!!!!!! believe it or not.
fatsoh, i seem to recall the labor government selling off certain assets (see qantas & cba) yet it didn't stop them from borrowing billions (& never paying it off).
