These articles and calls for Childcare workers pays to increase are always so backwards.
They want the government to intervene, however they are the ones that call for better ratios and regs etc.
You can't have it both ways without someone paying for it. The operators work within a frame work that does not allow them to increase wages when they are required to also need to increase the amount of staff they are required to have...
The article should read "childcare workers demand the government pay them more to do less"
