Run your numbers for around $37000 and you have a pretty fair buffer, as the longer term looks to approximately $40 000 for the foreseeable future.
Regarding the AUD, the Israeli central bank has 'divested' of some of their USD holdings, and is buying the CAD, Yuan and interestingly, the AUD. Probably why we see some strength of late.
If the numbers still add up, then sp strength will hopefully absorb some of the volitilty, that we may start witnessing in the world markets.
