The lack of govt funding for FBR isnt FBRs fault.
It is a govt policy fault.
Both Labor and Liberal Govts at State and Federal level have history of NOT helping new companies with $.

Liberal will never do this because their ethos is small govt and individual responsibility for success or failure.

Labor could probably be convinced that such a policy of providing $ to commercialise and trying to pick winning tech to develop is a good idea. But for that to happen Labor would first need to be convinced that the voters would ignore any attacks by the Liberals for having such a policy that does have risks of losing tax payer $.
