    A coal fired plant takes days to kick into gear.....thus rendering it useless as a companion to solar. On the other hand a gas turbine powers up in 10 min.
    The reported economics of solar are a crock of S%$t at best and requires government subsidy to happen.
    I dont see a 3rd world government buying into it..
