    Boepd is just a gauge of the amount of gas required to produce the same energy as a barrel of oil.

    It was never intended as a valuation tool and you will be severely butthurt if you base youe investment decisions on this ratio as, you most likely know, there is a gas glut and gas prices in the us are near record lows
