Retail sales continue to rise

Figures just released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics show Australian retail sales rose again in April.


The seasonally adjusted estimate of turnover rose by 0.1% in April, following a revised increase of 1.0% in March and 0.9% in February. Analysts had expected about 0.3%.

All states and territories except New South Wales (–0.1%), South Australia (–0.7%) and the Australian Capital Territory (–0.9%) reflected increases in the seasonally adjusted estimate.

And as I posted just the other day, the US retail industry (a $3 TRILLION one at that) has CONTINUED TO GROW!!!!

IT GREW BY $15 BILLION in the last Qtr.
