I don't necessarily agree. RNT might well benefit from a NED with deep property experience but really the whole Board should be refreshed. There have been countless missteps since the IPO and their strategy chopped and changed every year until Greg Bader arrived. Don't get wrong, the Board are trying hard but they are completely out of their depth. RNT's management team are very capable but the Board is weak.

I don't actually see the value of RNT in property, property tech or fintech, I see the real value in their data ~1m renter resumes et al.

Australia's leading banks spend on average $4k per mortgage customer acquisition and even then they will tell you the investment is not very well targeted, hence all the TVC's we see on free to air TV. Think about what Greg says in regard to the tenancy period and the tenancy journey from renter to home owner and therefore just how valuable RNT's data is, IMHO.

Very difficult to value RNT on a DCF basis until we see revenue, profit and cash flow forecasts, but at ~$0.19 a share and with a market cap of ~$75m it doesn't feel expensive to me. With the core business now "washing its face" for consecutive quarters, the downside risk appears to be mitigated but with significant upside. Management were as bullish as I have seen them on the webinar yesterday. I am more than happy to hold and will buy more on the dips.
