I DO feel sure that the Senegal gov't would like to benefit from this stoush....and by that it could be for the country....or for individuals or both.
perhaps even the IMF would help the Gov't to raise money if they can see Petrosen getting part of the PE rights.
430 million is so small in terms of today's financial numbers ....but there is a lot of money still to go after that, and a willing and knowledgeable partner is needed. So taking the % from COP still means farming out to someone with the knowledge and the finances. FAR can never come up with enough money and knowledge ...and there are limited groups that can.
