Volt i remember a few years ago the week before easter was a shocker and after we returned from easter that week was also a shocker..eg. bhp went from 19 ish - 15 ish, caltex took a massive hit...this was my first year of trading and i was stuck in the mentality of always going long..."Buy the Dips" how ever the dips kept coming, i learnt more in that easter weekend and had one hell of a heart attack then i have ever experienced...hence why i now have a phobia of holding over long weekends. in that two weeks i lost approx $40,000 maybe not alot for some but for a newbie like me it was a lot.
Why did i write this....no idea, but happy tradings.
