Firefox is much faster, less error prone , less complicated and more user friendly than IE. Also the multiple tab function within one window came in Firefox earlier than IE. I liked this option as you do not have multiple windows open and taking up the space in the bottom bar.

Even my Power ETrade WebIress platform runs better and faster in Firefox. Haven't had a crash for over 6 months now (touch wood).

I have a separate software (StopZilla) to block popups and spyware. Used to use McAfee for this but it made the system slow, so went for StopZilla.

Note that I have no vested interest in Firefox, just that I have have found it much more reliable than IE.
