Ardvark, you have been feed a load of rubbish by your friend and your broker. It is illegal for Rivkin to deal through any broker except Rivkin Stockbroking and therefore he couldn't have been buying through Morgans.

This rumour sounds like a classic ramp job and if such a rumour is coming out there must be some desperate people trying to get the price up so they can sell.

Could you tell us which broker gave you this information so we know not to deal through him for two reasons. Firstly, he obviously doesn't know much about stockbroking because he said Rivkin was dealing through Morgans and secondly because he is a rumour monger which probably means he has no idea about the stockmarket.

If your friend or broker says differently I am happy to bet that I am right, so let me know and I will put my money where my mouth is which I know they won't be willing to do.
