    All short selling have to be reported to ASX and today you can see that about 7.3 millions shares were shorts and it was about 19% of all shares traded so it is a lot and that was just today, if DOW drops again there will be more shorts tomorrow and then margin calls to the longs and the sales will get worse and then some traders will panic so on and so on and the shorts will get more aggresive, but one day it will be reversed and the shorts will have to cover and some will get killed and some will make a fortune
