LGL has always been a lagger.
I bought it on 1st Jan 2009 at AUD$3.30 after their capital raising.
It was a lousy purchase. Let me qualify - even when GOLD price goes up and Newcrest, Medusa, Santa Barbara (small little stock), Andean Resources, Kingstate, Sino Gold (now part of Eldorado) ALL went up in tandem, LGL is always at the back of the race in terms of share price appreciation.
I finally sold off and bought myself some furniture and reinvested some $$$$ in other speccie stock that has potential.
I learn a few lessons:
a) What the stock analyst , the newspaper , the glossy magazine costing $8 bucks, these are merely a guide.
They can be wrong 2 third of the time (67%) and when they are right, they TRUMP it up via marketing!
b) As I mature, I want to learn more about Charting, and after doing my own research, I will follow my fact PLUS my gut feeling as well.
All the best.
