The Lake Cowan Lithium project hasn't been spoken about too much on MCT threads, but it is interesting to follow TAW - Tawanna Resources (they have had a massive run recently) and note that our Lake Cowan applications are 5km south of the Bald Hill tantalum mine.
According to TAW Quarterly, pegmatites are known to contain spodumene. Their Li project covers 26km strike of two belts containing a large number of pegmatites.
I have included a few maps - two from Tawana (note Bald Hill with ref to Spodumene) and the pegmatite belt and then MCT Lake Cowan project and its vicinity to Bald Hill. We can see one pegmatite belt heading South into MCT tenements.
The last map. Figure 2 - Geology of the Lake Cowan project is from MCT.
Should be very interesting to see how Lake Cowan unfolds. Sounds promising.
