So the GCCC has been using Phoslock In Hugh Muntz. I have been paddling in in the Lake for years ( Surfboard). Lake of rain and heat affect conditions. A couple of years ago large clumps of growth? were dotted around in the lake but i think the council scooped it out and it has not returned. The Water is clear and the Swans and their Signets are very healthy. Ducks also doing well. Occasionally depending on the direction of the winds the deadend coves will collect detritus but it has been like that since Hugh Muntz was created.
The Lake, Visually is looking great. Clarity is good and the Water is really getting cold.
Certainly have had no problems and i also do swim at times and the swans are thriving.
They are appreciating the Council keeping the crowds out of their lake.
