    Agree Timmo. I'm experienced in this industry also. Dilution is the solution as the last option after finding use for by-products. Dilution at 1:7 will ensure the waste has no hazardous classification, it will be classed as general waste and can be used as clean fill or disposed of at a hard landfill site

    Gypsum and concrete clinker are the best option for Lynas as Malaysia is an importer of gypsum.

    Concrete is radioactive and a well understood commercial product.

    I argued with one of these anti Lynas people that they currently import radioactive gypsum. they denied this until I provided evidence . Then asked them if Lynas had the identical product already in the country, isn't it better to use than import more radioactive material...... They couldn't answer it or deal with this logic.

    Lynas must not however (I've posted this before) use gypsum for plasterboard. There are significant issues in the USA from highly radioactive plasterboard imported from China, which no doubt would add gunpowder to SMSL arsenal.
