the main thrust of the article, besides the obvious bias, is that the sticking point for the TOL is waste disposal.
now Lynas have 10 months after operation to show how they will safely dispose of the waste, but is it possible that the government want more detailed confirmation before giving issuing Lynas with the TOL?
that seems possible and reasonable, but NC certainly didnt suggest that in the recent conference call. does anyone have any idea about the companies actual plan/strategy for waste disposal? assuming they cant stockpile indefinitely, what are they planning on doing with it? maybe someone should have asked this in the conference call question time...
