If we look at this LAMP situation on a global scale..worst case scenario..protests succeed..LAMP shuts down.
1.It would make gobal headlines.
2.The only reason the protests could succeeed would be proof that even a State of the Art processing plant,handling thorium well below International standards levels,recycling the solid and liquid waste,is still a radioactive problem that will harm people and the enviroment..
3 The REE Industry would CRASH overnight.
4.If there is proof,no country on earth (no pun ) will issue a processing license to any REE miner.
5.China would come under International condemnation if they proceeded to process,considering most of their mines survived with no scrutiny..this would totally change the landscape in China as well..
6 Molycorp is already under pressure in Nevada from the looney left greenies,,same as us in malaysia..if Malaysia win..so will Nevada..no more MCP.
7.If the LAMP is unsafe then the only place left to build a processing plant would be in N Korea where they dont give a stuff about people,or temporarily in LIBYA.ditto.

8.The world is stuffed.

So forget about just LYC..LAMP goes down get out of every REE company on earth...whats faster then pronto.

Thats why it cant and wont happen.
