Why does the PDF (PERMANENT Disposal Facility) continue to be constructed?
IMO, it is to be completed and is part of Lynas' plan to reduce the residue into a product that can be transported, sold, or even BURNT, which in turn, satisfies the "Letter and Spirit of the regulation "for waste disposal". It also offers the Malaysian government a "Fix" to the Lynas issue. The Malaysian government has already stated publicly that Lynas can stay if the residue is removed.
Are people on this thread suggesting now that China WILL be allowed to take over our LAMP and continue to operate, producing the exact same amount of waste, as is being produced now, with no restrictions.
You all gave a better chance of being stuck by lightning on a clear sumner day, then that scenario being realized.
The PDF is the key to Lynas remaining. The LAMP is not going anywhere. And, Malaysia has no recent history of nationalizing foreign countries' investments.
These ideas are Lynas bashing. Why are people giving #Fake ideas to feed in to the "Stock Shorters" narrative?
