Previous land owner had issues with anchor resources due to anchor trashing the land and leaving it in a poor state after drilling. They denied anchor access and Fought them in court for 6 years. Despite this anchor eventually won in court and was granted access for further exploration drilling in 2018 by the courts but they got bought out shortly after in 2019 and never conducted the drilling campaign and by this stage WCC project was well and truly parked. The land owner is older now and in there 60s and I’m assuming that 7 years in court takes it out of someone and they won’t want to do it again. TMG has made them a strong offer for land access and have proven themselves to be environmentally conscious so I’m hopeful this will bode well in negotiation land access. On top of that Antimony now being a critical mineral I can imagine encouragement from government to the land owner to get this up and running as well.
