The problem with that model, saintex, of which I'm familiar, is that it's poorly regulated or not regulated at all, allowing greed to rule - generally inflicted on vulnerable old folks. I continue to read financial and disruptive horror stories connected to like models, so not a housing option I would recommend until such time as it has a fair regulatory framework.
