Keep in mind QLD is trying to pass laws that basically could all other states land holdings as well as QLD against their threshold limit. This means if you hold a investment property in QLD but are under the threshold and also hold a property in WA, the WA property os added tot eh QLD investment property price to push you to now have to pay land tax
