The $20 minimum wage ( a 25% increase on the minimum wage ) saw lots of McDonalds and Pizza Hut and other chain close their doors and or lose many jobs but when 48 Mexican Taco restaurants announced they would have to close all of a sudden, it's a problem to try and fix.
The Mexican take away shops don't want to close but the combo of high rents, high energy costs and high wages made them unviable given what customers were prepared to pay.
The system is broken, and idiots being allowed to get into high office is a big part of the problem. No basic maths ability to realise before they do things alone or in combo that they are wrecking things.
