My Mother was a gambler and her father was a gambler and basically so am I
When I say gambler, my mother would go to the races and spend $5 to $10
The gamble is not the money, it is the pitting of you against the horse
And I only gamble when the odds are very high in my favor
All "dealing" ie buying and selling, trading is the same you either revel in it or not,
I had a friend who called in one day and said he was going to buy a S/H fridge for his garage & did I want to come for a ride, I was bored silly as the fridge was adv for $50 and we spent about 2 hours bargaining to get it down to $37
When we left with the fridge I asked did he even want the fridge and he said it had been fun and his garage did need a fridge.
He also could have afforded half a dozen new ones if he wanted, but he was a wheeler, dealer like me
