"On many metrics" ???. Also, on many metrics, they have it better than their parents. They start work at a later age, they travel more, they have a better car, they have shorter working hours and they party more.
I have teenage great grand kids, adult grandkids and kids who are grand kids. I can see it play out before my own eyes.
