If 500,000 net overseas migration is good for the Australian economy, especially the property market.Why not allow 1,000,000 new migrants in per year?
I have 8 investment properties and am keen to keep adding to my portfolio, but with interest rates being so high it is harder for me to secure more credit. However, the higher immigration has benefited me with higher rents and higher house prices, increasing my borrowing capacity.I know people say oh our infrastructure can't cope, hospitals are over loaded, blah, blah, blah. I don't care, I'm living in SE Asia, having a great time with my properties in Australia generating good returns.
What do you guys think, should we just remove all restrictions to immigration? They'll probably vote Labor and show distain for Australia Day, White History, etc so that will help too.
