1 year salary? Geez you're on big dough pal. When I bought, I was on 40k, the missus worked part time and we paid 217K in the outer burbs.
I know property has increased out of proportion. My same house is now 800k 18 years on and my wage hasn't gone to 160k. Whether there is a property bubble ready to burst I am not sure. I have never seen property prices crash.
My kids can't afford to buy near me. But they're working on it and gonna go much further than me over time. They have been raised motivated and tough and will punch the crap out of anyone who gets in their way..... especially my daughter
