IMHO the easiest measure of being a leech or not, is simple :- Just look at the general condition and fittings of the house that you live in compared to the one you rent out, are they equivalent ?
Is the rent a reflection of the price you paid for the rental house, in other words at least half the rental houses were purchased years ago when prices were a fraction of today's prices
eg :- So if you paid 100K for your rental house and charge more than $300 per week you are a leech
It is all just a case of moral standards ----- you either have them or you don't
