Without landlords you have no tenants
In most circumstances your landlord will be your reasonable and fair business partner if you treat his/her property with respect.
If not you should find a better landlord and your landlord may well find a worse tenant.
Your problem is with government. You should direct your venom at them and lobby for change if you feel the need.
