    If the real estate industry thought removing negative gearing would increase prices theyd be all for it

    CGT is the main problem with the tax system that Howard did by halving it, not sure how much an effect neg gearing has they estimate a couple of %

    That the 15 bill or so it costs the tax payer when only one in 30 investment properties are new builds shows the tax breaks arent supplying new property but just for genrally well off infestors

    Take the 15bill and spend it on social housing
