How do they leach? Imagine a person buys a unit in Sydney for $1 million. His interest costs on 1m at the rate of 6.5% will be $65000. Landlord will pay around 10 thousands in insurance, rates, water, strata, repairs, management agents fees. What rent he should charge? Should he cover all the costs as private investor. Remember he would have done lot of sacrifices to raise required deposit.
