Who are they going to sell all those investment properties to?
People currently renting who want to own there own home & other people who will rent them out.
Properties don't just disappear, yes there are empty properties in Australia but all the currently owned investment properties won"t just become empty.
So no if all the property owners sold up their current tenants wouldn't all become homeless, that's just hyperbole.

All the current property subsidies should be directed to new builds only.
Get rid of NG on all current properties & use the money saved to encourage housing building in the private sector & build more social housing.
