Has anyone had trouble/experience getting their rental property up to date with new electrical and gas compliance regulations?
We have a relatively new property built by a medium sized builder only a few years ago. After a change of tenants, the real estate agent organised a compliance inspection and it was found a lot of the appliances do not meet regulations.
I feel like this is a rort. All the appliances work fine.
We have been quoted an excessive amount to have these “repaired”
Further to this, our new tenants who have only been in the house for four months are nearly two months in arrears. Yet somehow, a landlord is considered a leach?
