    People don't form companies to invest in property, they form trusts so that the beneficiaries pay the tax.

    Irrelevant to the discussion. I do not support the arguement for one group of taxpayers to be be allowed a tax deduction when another group of taxpayers are denied that same deduction under ostensibly identical income/investing arrangements.

    I do not support a Company being allowed to deduct investment costs for "used rental properties" when an Nurse or Teacher is denied the exact same deductions for the same items.
