The more i read the presentation and announcement the more i feel this is not a landmark deal for GDO shareholders but a landmark steal from shareholder....
IMO cash offer of 55 cents is a BIG HOGWASH when u consider BidCo the china fund will anyway get minimum of 375 million shares @ 40 cents which could be increased to 492 million share @ 40 cents..... this 55 cents cash offer is a big window dressing from NF and management
If the management would have come and said we r issuing shares at 40 cents to Bidco which will increase there holding to 60% to 75% no way it would has passed with flying colours
this is a big back door entry for bidco and basement price IMO for no benefit for shareholder who presntly hold the stock
why not give us also shares at 40 cents.....
