My reading is that it goes to a vote in July. If enough people vote no then the Chinese are left with just their 17%.

Management would be forced to back out of the Rand deal as they won't have the financing and we can go back to concentrating on ME and bringing Ventersburg into production.

It may be a long shot but I can't see how they sold the deal to the other major shareholders. Surely they would have been thinking more like the majority of posters here and told them to go hang!
