i can't understand why people do not se the value of a strong financial shareholder of reference. When the stock simply could not command a premium valuation and gain support from the market, this deal clears out the weak shareholders and replaces them with strong shareholders. Strong shareholders will back the company whne good deals present themselves (internally or externally). Weak shareholders will always look for short term gains but never be able to support the company with capital when it is needed most. Management have seen the benifit in the current environment of access the capital. Those that dissagree can vote with their feet - many are!
