the landowners have lodged their own EL over the area - see previous posts so they wouldnt want to reduce their chances of getting an el,

the KTA bartlett guy is about to lose his job - the KTA was set up to assist the landowners along the track to get what they deserve from tourism however they have got nothing and now the KTA is being replaced and some of its members have been charged with corruption,

this appears to be a common theme in PNG - corruption

AS with previous posts i think the landowners will eventually get the EL, FNT will get a small cash settlement and finally the whole can get dug, if not their will be alot of angry natives marching to Port morsby as the only reason they havent yet is they are believing the lies the politicians are telling them about the amount of cash and services they will recieve from the 5000 treckers who treck each year.

I think its time for FNT to move on from Kodu, leave it with the lawyers and advance the other projects as released earlier, I think i can see some Zinc on the horizon
