David Prentice has been very gratious in providing further insight into Continental Resources results for Brookside Energy.

Hi Paul- these results are very encouraging for BRK on a number of fronts. Firstly it confirms the quality of the acreage we are picking up in our SCOOP leasing focus area. Secondly these successful increased density pilots (in this case 10-wells per development unit) help to lift the per-acre valuations. i.e. more wells points to more reserves per development unit which in turn points to higher NPV$/acre in the unit. In addition the higher EUR's or reserves per well being flagged by these operators helps this equation. Focusing this back to BRK, you will see in our most recent Slide Deck that we are flagging 6.5 wells per development unit and ~1,000,000 Boe per well - this equates to ~US$42,000/acre. I will leave it to you to do the math on 10 wells and say 1,500,000 Boe per well. All of this combined with higher oil prices means we are in the right place at the right time.

    Keep well Cheers Paul
