Dell computers are CR@P !...
We've got so many problems with Dell servers that you would surprise yourself !
Dell workstations are built in a way you cannot upgrade your PC....their motherboard and cases configuration are aimed to not let the users to upgrade it but to force them to buy another one.
Dell laptops have a very bad reputation....off course there are always the ones that have never had problems but, In the IT industry where you buy 300 - 500 of them...you find a huge turnover of them with all sort of problems....
We use IBM laptops...much more reliable......there are a few that use ASUS now.... I've got one and it have heaps of features and has been reliable even on Tweaking it on software and hardware.....
Go to Zdnet.com.au, or get some reviews from APC magazine or any other and pls do a good research before buying it....
I know that buying online or on the phone from DELL looks cheap but the product is absolutely third quality... CR@P quality as it best......
IBM, TOSHIBA, ACER, ASUS and others are better than DELL....
