Thanks for those posts amigos. The deposit at La Paz can be measured in square kilometres - the drilling in 2011 showed that the lower plate has the highest grades (and grade is increasing with depth). To give a perspective, a map is copied below from a BPL announcement on 20 August 2019 (the scale bar is 1km and the map shows only half of La Paz). And note that the drilling was to a simple pattern - it didn't target rich outcrops or geochem anomalies. So the current average grade of resource at La Paz is not a true guide - the resoruce is far from explored. As a result, in this quarter ARR will be drilling to 60 m at a few targets in order to improve the grade and to convert the resource to a JORC. Keep in mind that the radioactive levels in most soil, rocks and water are in the low ppms, and La Paz's levels of uranium & thorium are in that type of background category. There is no reason to expect that ARR will select a metallurgical process which will concentrate the radioactive elements - that would be counter-productive. To that end, testing of metallurgical processes wil be carried out in USA to optimise the extraction and concentration processes. In comparison, the grades of radioactive elements are 100 to 1000 ppm in many other deposits of rare earth, so the processing that those companies have to undertake is much more complicated (and subject to much stricter environmental conditions).
