That assumption is wrong.
Cash does not add anything to the market cap as that cash can be spent over time.
Market cap, also known as market capitalizationis the total marketvalue of all of a company's outstanding shares. It is also incorrectly known to some as what the company is really worth, or in other words the value of the business.
How to calculate the market cap is this.
Multiply shares outstanding number by the current stock price to determine the market capitalization.
Again cash balance means zip.
A capital raise which has been FAR's case only adds more shares which in turn could increase the MK if the SP does not fall.
Simple really.
