Grahod - You need to ask what are View Golds Liabilities - I don't know? View Resources is the parent company of View Gold. View Nickel is an untouchable subsiduary also.
As far as I am aware creditors will only recieve payment from the sale of the "gold assets". They cannot touch other assets, so View Resources is still potentially a viable company depending on what our major (now controlling) share holder and white knight (IMC Res) have in mind. I believe the will relist VRE as a vehicle to increase their Australian mining interests. Current shareholders equity will be of course severely diluted but will be offered the chance to come for the ride......just my opinion!
