Hi All
Just thought I would throw in my 2c worth ( I hold approx +A$4mill worth of JBM)on current situation.
I am holding my JBM until I get a higher bid from either current bidder or;
A. BHP
B. Norilsk
C. Unknown - but there should be others
If i was going to make a counter bid that was close to the current bidder (as price is getting close to value) I would want to wait for the current holder to get close to but not over 50% why?
- It allows the first bidder to consider defeat yet take home some winnings (i.e. the second bidder has to pay someone it may as well pay that someone to walk if you get my drift)
- They will not like +50% as its game over.
It's not over till the fat lady is singing and dancing. And this fat lady sure is a hell of a long way from doing any of that!
