What you have not alluded to is that the majority of customers in the bush are taking out accounts even if it is more expensive as they are offering a "service" no other large bank is prepared to offer. Even more so because the majors have taken their ONLY branches away!
This in itself has bred a hatred that stems deep throughout Australia and will continue for a long time yet imho.
Bendigo Bank will be the star performer among the regionals. WBC & NAB will be the star performers among the majors.
All said these are briliient times to enter banks undoubtedly. They are about to anihilate anyone short imho.
