Firstly JFI: Tell that to Warren Buffet, show him PEN and tell him you're investing - at his age you might kill him with how hard he'd laugh. Nothing wrong with speculating though, just don't confuse it for investing. One day when I've got more time I'll go into more detail for you.

To j61034322: As an investor you can still speculate - the idea is just to put aside some money that you can risk and then use that to speculate. It is only dangerous if you think you're investing while you speculate. Of course most attention on HC is to speculative stocks. Investment stocks are slow and boring to most.

To newborn: Yes I am interested in the Uranium market cycle at present. I have never put money into a uranium stock to date but when conditions are right I may well do (most likely if the equities markets themselves crash and I see a likely scenario of the two rising together). I mainly post on the Uranium forum but go to other popular U stock company forums as well to listen in and post because they get more traffic and participants. And when I read the post I commented on I couldn't help it. There are some very uninformed people posting on PEN - talking basic nonsense, alongside some very well informed posters - long holders that I feel sorry for having to constantly put up with dribble.

So there are your answers. Always read the facts, don't try to justify your first impressions of a stock, nothing wrong with speculating - it's lots of fun and if you're lucky can make you good money.
