It might be silly to follow hedge funds in if a retail investor BUT I can guarantee you there are a lot of hedge funds who are run by people who love punting. These hedge fund guys from all over the work will be following this USA hedge fund with a tight stop loss.
Shorts will also be covering worried about what they may know.
The hedge fund industry are run by gamblers and sheep. There are a few who are very good but most follow each other into crowded trades.
The hedge funds are running the show now so don't try and think you can predict where the stock is going.
My point has always been the brand has value and the new mgnt know the problems and will turn it around and a takeover was likely.
